​A Brooklyn bred Global Kids alumnus, Marcus is passionate about growth through positivity and his work in Youth Development. After gaining his B.A. in Psychology and English Writing from the College of Staten Island, Marcus joined Global Kids with the goal of passing on the lessons he learned from Global Kids while attending high school. Marcus has worked with students of all ages from kindergarten to undergraduate levels, teaching subjects like health and recreation, conflict resolution, and running creative writing workshops. Marcus attributes much of his scholarly curiosity to the comic books, anime and video games he grew up with. As a youth development educator, Marcus aims to bring knowledge and creativity to the youth around NYC. As a writer and creative, and a member of GK’s Digital Learning and Leadership team, he is dedicated to equipping students with the skills and creativity to become powerful global assets in a growing technological world.
