"GK taught me to become a leader - someone who is responsible, on task, and mature. I grew through GK. I like being a leader and now I'm getting ready to use those skills in college."

Global Kids places a high value on measuring the effectivness of our programs. We have established an evaluation system designed to assess the impact of our programming in the areas that youth are learning about and experiencing, specifically leadership development, civic engagement, and global citizenship.

Our outcomes for youth encompass the wide-reaching scope of the Global Kids experience that begins in students' high school years and extends into adulthood. They are:

1.Global Kids leaders graduate high school and attend college.

2.Global Kids leaders demonstrate increased interest in and knowledge of domestic politics and international affairs.

3.Global Kids leaders demonstrate increased leadership skills that will enable them to succeed in the 21st century.

4.Global Kids leaders demonstrate increased civic engagement.

5.Global Kids leaders demonstrate the values and attitudes of global citizens.

A recent internal evaluation demonstrated that at the core of the Global Kids learning experience, youth realize their individual and collective potential as peer leaders and global citizens who are aware and knowledgeable about critical global issues, committed to social action, open to learning about other cultures, and prepared for success in today's complex world.
