Executive Director of Global Kids
Dominique Jones
Executive Director since 2021, Dominique brings 25+ years of nonprofit and public sector leadership, including six years leading Boys & Girls Club of Harlem’s program expansion and COVID-19 response. Recognized as a City & State NY Women Power 100 honoree and 2023 NY Nonprofit Trailblazer, she oversees programs serving 10,000+ youth and educators in NYC and DC. Holds an M.A. in Urban Policy from The New School and a B.A. from Spelman College.

Managing Director, Washington DC
Wida Amir
Wida Amir joined Global Kids in 2014 and currently serves as the Managing Director of Global Citizenship and the Washington, D.C. Program. She leads the strategic vision, program design, policy advocacy, and cross-sector partnerships that empower youth from underserved communities to grow as informed, engaged local and global leaders. Wida is a graduate of UC San Diego, a recipient of Columbia Business School’s Executive Leadership Program.

Samuel Derek joined Global Kids in 2023 with 20+ years in alumni relations and fundraising, having held leadership roles at The New School, The Cooper Union, Baruch College, East Side House Settlement, and Prep for Prep. Holds a B.S. from C.W. Post College, an M.S. from The New School, and an Executive Leadership Certificate from Parsons.

For over a decade, Alan has led technology and operations at Global Kids, drawing on 30+ years in tech and business management, including roles at Nokia, AT&T Wireless, and Platinum Supermodels India. Holds a B.B.A. in Computer Information Systems from Baruch College.

Young Sook Na
With nearly three decades in the nonprofit sector, Young Sook oversees finance at Global Kids. Former Administrative Director at the MinKwon Center for Community Action, she began there as a volunteer, advancing advocacy and community service initiatives. Holds a B.B.A. in Accounting from Baruch College.

Toni Gray-Hazlewood
Toni leads HR at Global Kids, with expertise in recruitment, performance management, and organizational development. Formerly a Site Director. She also interned at the Children’s Law Center in Washington DC. Holds a B.A. from John Jay College, an Masters in Legal Studies. from Washington University School of Law, SHRM certification, and SAC Credential.

Chaelee Dalton
Chaelee oversees academic, STEM, and college & career programs, with six+ years in nonprofit program development and evaluation. Holds a Physics degree from Pomona College.

Jacqueline Joseph
Jacqueline has seven+ years’ experience in youth development, specializing in immigrant youth and young women’s leadership. Holds a B.A. from Loyola University New Orleans, multiple nonprofit leadership certificates, and is pursuing an M.P.A. at SUNY Albany.

With over a decade in youth development, Olympia designs quality programs for underserved NYC communities. Pursuing an Ed.D. in Organizational Leadership at Nation University.

Diamond Butler
Diamond has led youth programs at the United Palace, YMCA of Greater New York, and served in the Peace Corps in Comoros. A Cheyney University political science graduate, she brings experience in international affairs, political campaigns, and service-learning initiatives.

Libby Hill
For over a decade, Libby has played a key leadership role in growing Global Kids programs in Washington, DC She holds a BA in International Studies and Political Science from Muhlenberg College and an MA in Conflict Transformation from SIT Graduate School. Libby brings extensive youth development, peacebuilding, and global experience to her work at GK.
