What do you all think people look up to in our society today as success, is it one with great character by exemplifying moral values, or one with money and materialistic possessions?
Now, through your own eyes what is important to you and why?

I think that people today look more at how much money that a person has rather than what kind of a person they are. I mean they can be the richest people in the world and if they are a serial killer than they don't care. In my opion I think that it is better to be a good person than a rich one. If you are a good person than you know that your friends like you because you're you and not because of your money. People are to concerned about being rich to enjoy things in life. I would prefer to have a friend who is a good person rather than have a rich friend because they have alot of money. Am I getting my point across?

Hey,
I totally agree with Jesusisinme. All people care about sometimes is how much money someone has, or how big their house is, or how much stuff they have, whatever. I really don't care what a person looks like or how much money they have, as long as they are a good person inside. I would rather be a good, caring person than have a lot of money, live in a huge mansion and be an awful person. I also think that most people that have a lot of possesions and money are more stuck-up, rude, and jerks to people not as lucky as them because they think they are better than them and want to make other people jealous.

I think everyone is different. I'm not going to say everyone or most people are selfish and like money. Some people are different. In my opinion, i can care less about money. because money doesn't buy happiness. That's what i've always been tought and told. But people who are as selfish as just wanting a lot of money, all i can say is that there going to find out the truth in the long run.

Money is the root of all evil.

Undoubtedly, today everything revolves around the Amighty Dollar. ::Bow down to the Holy Green:: It goes all the way down to high school. When it comes to dating, a good portion of the teen population hold popularity and good looks above everything else. In society, your wealth is measured in property; in the world, we fight over land just for the sake of saying that we own land. The human univrse is based on materialism.
Personally, I feel quality outweighs quantity. Which store would you buy from...the one that says, "We got the best" or "We got the most"?
