Hluwehluwe/Umfolozi Game Park
We went this weekend to a safari. We saw monkeys, giraffes, rhinos, nyalas (antelopes), elephants, lizards, zebras, water buffaloes, and warthogs. I really wanted to see a lion and a leopard, but I did not have the chance to (oh well!).

I stayed in a hut, which was a different experience because it was with someone I did not know who was on the trip. I bought a new hat, a Big Five safari hat. The safaris have five different creatures - elephants, lions, leopards, rhinos, and water buffaloes - which are the five hardest animals to hunt.

A Letter to Global Kids:

I never exactly thanked you for allowing me to travel to South Africa. Thank you. I am so happy that you gave me an opportunity to travel to South Africa to represent Global Kids. I appreciate the fact that you believed in me. I hope you are satisfied because I sure am. I thank you also for letting me experience the greatness of South Africa (safari included). This once in a lifetime opportunity to travel to another country, and continent, will always be remembered.
